Ultimate Frisbee – The Golden Bears hosted their 3rd Annual Ring Bologna Tournament this past Saturday and it was a huge success. Thirteen different teams including Lafayette, East Stroudsburg, Scranton, Muhlenberg, and York just to name a few, came out to play in 5 games of pool play before moving onto the bracket. KU won half their games with their MVP winner being Christopher Delamater.

Ice Hockey – KU brought home the big win against La Salle University, who is one of their inter league rivals, with a final score of 9-2. This win will help the Golden Bears in the playoff race, with their record now being 3-8. The next day, however, KU fell short in their game against Lafayette with a score of 7-2. Their record after this weekend is 3-9.

Equestrian – Kutztown hosted a morning show and everyone had strong rides in the morning despite some tough draws. Later that day, KU attended the William Patterson University Show and everyone did amazing. They took home two first places and one second place against very tough competition. Kelsey Weingartner placed first in her class and also earned reserve high point rider!


Intramurals and Special Events Recap

Volleyball – “No Diggity” took home the Monday/Wednesday Intramural Volleyball Championship by taking down the top-seeded “Knights who say Ni” by a score of 2-1. “No Diggity” lost the first set, but rebounded to win the final two, including a thrilling 16-14 win in the decisive third game. They will go on to play the champion of the Tuesday/Thursday league for the Overall Championship on Tuesday, November 14th.
